Here are some hints for choosing one:
- That you can get relevant information
- That you can contact the designer or company
- It is not boring
- It must have social, environmental and safety advantages
- Australian, or have an effect on Australia

You now need to post a comment on this blog detailing your choice or at least a few that you might choose one from.
You need to post the information this week!
Nanowire batterys
ReplyDeleteemerging technologies
ReplyDeletei have found that doing the whole suit for the powered exoksleleton would be just to complecated to find many ways of getting all the answers, as to when i just research a limb of the powered exoskeleton i can progress more thourghly through what needs to be done.
i have chosen to to my emerging technologies on the powered exoskeletons leg as there is much information and i can also make it interesting for myself so i do not lose inrerest which would be bad, in this case because i would have to resecarch the whole body.
reasearching only one limb is excellent and i am going to stick to it so far i know were the limb i am research has been manufactured and i am learning what capablities it posses, i know that it can repair neurological damage and that it involes something called kinematics.
i understand so far that kinematics involves motion of the body and helps progress the thought as to how this design can help humanity in the areas that people cannot walk, and can help repair neurological damage.
Light Peak Technology??? Intel is researching it.
ReplyDeleteIt is a type of optical cable that is still in its beta phase.
Whattaya think??
Matthew - Nanowire Batteries look good. It has health and safety aspects such as lighter powertools, longer lasting power for epirb and other emergency situations.
ReplyDeleteEnvrimonetal benefits as it doesn't lose it's charge as quickly - therefore less power consumed in charging it. It is lighter therefore cars, trucks, motorbikes, boats etc. would be lighter and therefore more economical to run.
Cameron - The leg sounds like a great one to study. Many health benefits. What about enviromental? You will have to send them an email asking questions. Send your message intended for them to me first so I can proof it.
Jarrod - Very good. This is especially interesting at the moment with the National Broadband Plan that the Government is tring to work out. I think current fibre optic technology is getting a bit old so I will be very interested to see them benefits of light peak technology.
hey sent the email to the university to u to proof read it
